HMRC has approved our premises as a customs bonded warehouse allowing our customers to defer payment of import duty and VAT.
Some of our customers use customs warehousing as an opportunity to bulk purchase their products; buying ahead when exchange rates are favourable and knowing that there is no need to pay the import duty and VAT until the goods are to be moved from our premises.
The majority of companies do not sell their goods within four weeks of receiving stock into their facility. This means that they will have paid the Duty and VAT up front on all their stock, which is now classed as duty paid. This is the money that they could have avoided paying for a considerably longer period of time.
Importers appreciate the flexibility of bonded warehouses; if they can’t get a good price for goods domestically or can’t sell them at all, they can sell them for re-export without having to worry about the duties which would already have been paid.

In addition to our customs bonded warehousing services we are able to deal with all the customs procedures and handle the related paperwork whilst liaising with the client’s shipping agent, arranging delivery from the port of entry to the UK directly to our bonded warehousing facility, notifying customers once the goods are recorded and stored at our warehouse. Provisions can be made to de crate goods, check condition and even provide photographs if required. Where necessary, cleaning and minor repairs can be arranged.
Our customs bonded warehousing facility has over 100,000 square feet of internal storage space. Our warehouses are all heated fitted with high and low bay lighting and offer eaves heights of up to 10m. We have overhead cranage for handling of goods up to 20 Te in weight. Our sites are enclosed by 2.4m palisade fencing and are all equipped with state of the art security solutions.
